Changed to the Via Card same problem. I went through the Firewire shut-off options and boosted performance.

I'm surprised MS let you install Win11 on an older machine (dual core cpu)? They must be loosing up the specs.

Try moving the FireWire card into a different slot (doesn't matter if the slot is a longer x16 PCIe slot)?
Usually a different slot will give you a different IRQ

Yes, I got the machine like that I was also.
I did that with both cards.
Same result
Win 10 now when I load PowerSDR, I get an out-of-memory error.
Installing a lot of updates including .net 3.5 , 4.8, and 4.8.1 and win 10 version 22H2

Is there any way to change the IRQ on windows 10 on an older PC?
There's NO setting in the Cmos to change it, and the use Auto settings on 10 is grayed out but checked.

on Windows 10
Other slot same. And the Texas Instruments Card is still in.
I reinstalled PowerSDR after uninstalling and removing the directory updated to 311, but I did not install my database backup. It's working well now, but there's a Big BUT. IRQ 18 is still being shared.
Lowed Sample Rate to 96000.
They say the audio cleared up, and the receive also no more clicks and pops.

Going to run like this today and see what happens.
Thanks For all your Help

Modern PCs no longer allow you to change the IRQ manually.
The only way I know to do this is try moving PCIe slots, or sometimes disabling a device, and then re-enabling it will give it another IRQ, but not always.

Its not a deal breaker if the IRQ is shared, because it all depends on what is sharing the IRQ and if that other device is causing issues.
So if it works with a shared IRQ, that other device is obviously not causing issues.
