RTTY in SPLIT mode with RX1 (Flex-5000a)

Post by SP2EWQ »

Hi,

I am searching for the info how to transmit AFSK in split mode with RX1 only.
At present, RTTY works great with PowerSDR when it goes simplex.

With SPLIT ON, the Radio turns to transmit but it looks like no audio
reaches it therefore nothing is transmitted.

I will appreciate any suggestions,
please...

Best regards,

Running the PowerSDR "SPLIT" feature puts TX under VFOB control.
(If you Right click on the SPLIT button, it automatically toggles the Split +5khz or -5khz for SSB (+/- 1khz for CW)
VAC1 is only for VFOA
VAC2 is only for VFOB

And technically you could use the XIT to run a virtual split. You can control XIT with the CAT "IF" command.
