Re: DttSP Auto Restart

The box shows the number of times PowerSDR suffered a "DPC latency" issue (which caused the DttSP to freeze) in which PowerSDR needed to Restart the DSP. If you hold your mouse over the box, a ToolTip will explain. And for others who might have questions: High DPC latency can indicate some...

Re: Cannot use PowerSDR v2.8 after

That is a database corruption. It can happen when you upgrade from one version to a newer version. go to folder: %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\FlexRadio Systems\PowerSDR v2.8.0\ and remove all the files with your radios matching serial number. (there are usually 5 files: 1 main and 4 backups) Now wh...

AM waterfall image

This was captured by my friend in Boston running a Flex-6600. I'm outside of Chicago running 1kw AM mode on a damaged G5RV on my Flex-5000. Note: When running "AM" you get the mirror image appearing on the other side, with the carrier in the middle (this is normal because I dont expect peo...

Re: Receiver Only Enhancements

Jim, I guess you could experiment with leaving the receiver on, but disconnect the ant (i.e. set the ANT panel Receiver 1 to N/C) and step up your power and watch the S meter and Panadapter. If your able to see a signal, but no overloading (with a legal limit signal), I could make that an option, so...

Re: Requests

PowerSDR uses only your Lat & Long values to determine the weather. I found a bunch of sites for weather data, but it normally requires a City, or a special WOEID "Where On the Earth ID" number The only sites I found that take Lat & Long are not free. I was only able to find NOAA.(...

Re: Delay going from keying radio to transmitting data

I know certain versions of VAC v4.xx dont work correctly, but I dont know remember which versions, since I no longer use VAC. I would do this. Go and download and install the free "voicemeeter Banana" program. It comes with a set of drivers for MME, DirectSound, and WDM-KS You dont need to...

Re: World Map

Jim, Yes that is definitely Equirectangular. It appears to be similar to the Spotter map I am currently using. I found one where someone had already put the 15deg Lat/Long lines on the map (I think it was from NOAA), then I tried my best to reduce the snow brightness (to prevent the spots from disap...

PowerSDR console not saving Maximized

PowerSDR always saves the last size and location in your database file (even if you have it set to MAXIMIZE). If the size and location is not completely located within the bounds of 1 monitor screen (ie. If any edge of the PowerSDR console touches or hangs off the edge of your monitor viewing area),...

Re: Requests

Yes. I have had others suggest the same thing for the 1500,3000, and 5000. You would be limited in the length of the name because of the space available in the small panel (without having to redo everything). But I can take a look

Re: Requests

Yes. But, I wont necessarily always be able to fill a "request". My time, and my skill level with DSP is limited, so It all depends. :)

World Map

If anyone has a World Map in "Equirectangular" format (i.e. the lines of Latitude are all equal from the North pole down the South pole) with the International date line on the left side of the map. Please send it to me. :)
