Re: soft block Flex 1500

normally, you would not select stereo (since your source is mono anyways) and either 44100 or 48000 SR, making sure the SR you choose matches the the device on the other end of the virtual cable (i.e. your mic and your headset) I also normally use "DirectSound" over MME. MME has the most c...

Re: Audio track problem

When you hit the REC button, it starts Recording audio from RX1 You MUST hit the REC button a SECOND time to End the recording. Now put the Flex in Transmit mode, and hit the PLAY button. The PLAY button is just to play the audio back over the air while Transmitting. If you want to hear the recordin...

Re: soft block Flex 1500

When exactly does this happen?
What Mic are you using?
Show me the VAC1 settings.
I need to know exactly what your doing and your settings so I can duplicate it here.

Not sure If I am duplicating your setup, but its working on my Flex-1500 running .264

Re: soft block Flex 1500

sounds like you need to reset your database back to factory defaults.

Hold the SHIFT key down while launching PowerSDR.
You will see a message asking to reset your database back to factory default.

See if it works OK after a factory reset.

Re: soft block Flex 1500

If you hit the "PLAY" button while in Receive mode, you will get the message you show. "since those recordings can only be played back while in Transmit." You got a NULL fault. Most likely because you tried to "PLAY" a recording that was not there? Click REC to make a r...

Re: Baseband rx

I believe the IQ wave recording currently only works for RX1.

I could probably put in a switch to select RX1 or RX2.

Re: Baseband rx

Dont mess with the DDS offset. The offset is automatically set when you run a setup->general->Calibration Just 0 the IF(hz) You can only record (and playback) what the radio is capable of capturing. For the Flex-5000 and 3000 its 192khz wide (example: 14.158 to 14.350mhz) FYI: If I enabled it, You c...

Re: Baseband rx

I made a video on exactly how to record and playback the entire band (up to your SR).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlhqNuMiyjw

It covers all the audio recording and playback stuff.

Re: "Out of Band" below VFO Frequency

Try doing setup->factory defaults.
Then see if it clears up before trying to put back a "backup"

Take a photo of the full PowerSDR console when this happens, so I can see everything.

Re: Flex unkeying before CW string sent

Make sure the VAC1 "mix VAC1 and Mic audio" is not ON
Otherwise you would need to look at the program you use for the virtual audio cable.
I use VB-Cable and Voicemeeter Banana for VAC

Take a picture of the entire PowerSDR console (similar your current picture) so I can see your settings.
But I would try a reboot first.

Re: old versions of power sdr Ke9NS

The old incremental files are still up on the server. If you see the incremental download link, just change the current .263 to whatever version. https://ke9ns.com/PowerSDR_KE9NS_V2.8.0.263_Incremental_Installer.msi FYI: New versions of PowerSDR can sometimes cause your database to become corrupted....

Re: Installation problem with 2.8.0.260 on Win10?

I have never encountered that fault before. if installing .263 doesnt work you may need to uninstall everything and re-install the Full installer first (again) before the .263 incremental. V2.7.2 only allows for 1 COM port pair, v2.8.0 allows for 6 COM port pairs. The PowerSDR setup->CAT Control scr...

.263 incremental installs here fine.
Assuming you already have some version of v2.8 installed and running, I would download and try to install .263

Re: How do I get rid of these lines

Looks like you right clicked on the VFOA or B BandText line (its a toggle switch), OR Spotter->BandText to Pan is checked ON But for some reason you turned down the setup->Appearance->Display->Panadapter BandText Fill Alpha, so all you see are the lines and not the fill showing the segments. Darrin

I run my setup with AVGp, so I just avg the Pan and not the waterfall since I like to see the waterfall detail. The timing of the AVG is under setup->display->Averaging time (I have mine set to 400ms) but I also have the setup->display->FPS = 30 and the waterfall avg time = 30 and update = 30 and th...

From the photo the harmonic is over 60db down so your good Enable the 2nd TX meter for COMBO, and make sure the MIC and ALC stay at or below 0db when you hit TUNE in WSJT-X (not PowerSDR TUN) Make sure your VAC1 sample rate matches the sample rate of the virtual cable your using (I use 44100 with VB...

Re: Flex 5000 very rarely Topic is solved

in .262 I just fixed it so that when you put your mouse over the DX spot call sign (on the Panadapter) and press CTRL key, That DX Spot Freq now moves onto the VFO along with the mode and split.
