I have run FreeDV RADE mode a few times. (the FreeDV reporter makes it easy to find someone to talk to)
I run PowerSDR in DIGU mode and treat it as any other digital signal.
I always keep my PowerSDR ALC set to 1,20,170

I found out I had an issue with the Incremental installer. It was installing in the wrong folder among other things.
I fixed it, but you may need to uninstall v3 first, then re-install the FULL installer, then download and install the Incremental installer over again, then its should work.

Setup->DSP->Options->Buffer Size. I normally keep them all set to 4096 (for the sharpest filter)
Then make sure all your TX profiles have the same buffer sizes set
