Re: WJST-X SPLIT operation on PowerSDR
Thanks Darrin, that really helped. Just worked 4 JA stations on 160 in FT8. I tried before with VFO Lock but did not enable VFO A/B Lock in Setup->General Options->"VFO Lock A/B". Probably a bug in WSJT-X ...

Re: Settings with strange behaviour
@G7DAZ: Hi Darren Coming back to you reply from May 9th: You were right. Now that all other effects are not there anymore it seems clear, that PowerSDR after restarting is reading the settings from the console and setting the levels accordingly (but only for the actual band and at restart). Once thi...

Re: Settings with strange behaviour
Hello Darrin Thank you. I was not properly using the word "freeze". The app does not respond any more after I press STOP and then click the x-Symbol to close go out of the application. Then the window is not stopping, pressing START does not change anything (the window is like frozen). The...

Re: Settings with strange behaviour
Thanks for the hints and clarifications. I am using a Hercules MP3 LE btw. Normally it only influences values on changes, so on turning a knob. Otherwise it does not show any static effects with me. @Darrin: 1 out of 4 times I stop PSDR and exit from it, I need to do a hard stop since the program ju...

Settings with strange behaviour
I have a couple of settings that with 2.8.0.123 (probably also in the versions before) show strange behaviours. e.g. Mic Gain after every restart goes back to 29, although it should be 35. If I change TX profile to another and load the right one again it is at 35. So somehow it is loading this value...

Re: Suggestion: Slider Controls
Not sure if I am the only one changing sometimes the Mic slider on the Mixer. It is really hard to get that to a specific value (also a numeric representation of the slider position could help a bit) using the mouse. Somehow selecting the slider and use up/down would make that easier ... Just becaus...

Re: CQ Repeat not repeating
Thanks. No question. It should only work for CQCQ ... I now found the reason. When VAC is in addtion on, pushing CQCQ goes to the message, after finishing it turns automatically VAC on again and this switches off the Repeat function. Is this done intentionally? Without VAC simultanously on, it works...

CQ Repeat not repeating
CQCQ and Reply button work nicely, but whatever time I set for the repeat timer, the messages are not repeated. Is there any other setting (except repeat time) to enable repetition. Installed 2.8.0.118 (but had the effect before with .116).

Re: VOX available in VAC
Hello Darrin
Many thanks for making VOX status and control visible also in DIGU/DIGL mode with the newest release. That is really helpful!

Re: Delay going from keying radio to transmitting data
Hello Darrin Not that good news. I have been working now quite a while using VOX, it seems to work without issues. Just out of curiosity and because VOX as described sometimes is switching off in the background (by manipulating with Audio Settings in PSDR), I switched to CAT PTT instead. And after m...

Re: Delay going from keying radio to transmitting data
Thanks Darrin for your help. Without using the PTT Control through the COM port, there are no increasing delays. Using PTT via CAT command or VOX works fine. VOX only has the disadvantage that if you do changes to the audio settings, VOX has to be switched ON again. Using digital modes the VOX setti...

Re: Delay going from keying radio to transmitting data
Darrin, Yes, wsjt-x sends the PTT command, the radio goes to TX immediately, but the audio stream starts delayed. And the delay is increasing over time, after 6 hours it is around 2 seconds. With putting VAC1 off and on it is reset to a minimum delay. Now I did test as you suggested, and it is obvio...

Re: Delay going from keying radio to transmitting data
I can now confirm that with above changes delay is still increasing over time.

Re: Delay going from keying radio to transmitting data
Hello Don (and Darrin - you may remember our mail exchange) Do you still suffer from this issue or did the installation of VoiceMeeter help? Sorry for you, but happy for me, I suffer from the same issue since a long time. I also use the workaround to first thing working with the PSDR I close and ope...
