Re: *BUG* .274 Antenna rename w/unexpected relay chatter
Your Flex-5000 is the same config as my Flex-5000 (all options). So that makes it even stranger. I am not getting any relay clicking when I change the antenna name, or as I type in the name (I tried all 3 antennas). I only get the relay click when I change antenna ports (which is correct). Not sure ...

Re: *BUG* .274 Antenna rename w/unexpected relay chatter
I had an issue where it was always going back to ANT1 after a reboot.
So you may want to try and download .274 again and install 2 times. 2nd time select Repair.
I am not getting any relay chatter on my end at all.
Do you have the 2nd receiver option?

Re: AF control not working
As far as I can Remember VAC1 never allowed the AF to control its volume level But you can use the RX-M slider to adjust the volume (its just below the SR button). VAC2 does allow use of the AF slider. That's Why I modified the code to allow using VAC2 even if you don't have the 2nd receiver option....

Great. If you encounter any troubles, check for an IRQ conflict, and you can search my webpage for MSI. There is a special program that can allow you to free up an IRQ by moving newer devices to MSI

Re: Flex 5000a Amp relay connectors
Correction. I have now encountered an SPE Expert 1.3k-FA amp that the Flex-5000 RCA output would not KEY with just an RCA cable.
I had to follow the Flex-5000 manual and wire a very small 12vdc relay in between the Flex-5000 RCA output and the SPE KEY line input.

Sorry for the reply delay.
Yes as long as you get the same TI chip, the board manufacture is probably not as important.

Re: Setup for CW
The Setup all depends on how you operate CW. For example: When I operate CW its usually using the CWX macros (see the CWX button at the top of PowerSDR) for Transmit, and "CW Skimmer" (search my webpage for info on that) for Receive. Setup->DSP->Keyer is the CW panel if you intend to use a...

Re: Reinstallation failure
That is definitely a FireWire card or driver issue. I list the TI chip I currently use on my webpage (the FireWire Link on the left side of my webpage) because its still in production. That link also describes using the legacy drivers. If that does not work, I would get a new FireWire card.

Re: Reinstallation failure
Same PC but different Win OS? Did something happen, or did you just want to go with fresh Win11? I have found cases where a FireWire card that ran fine after a Windows Upgrade, failed after performing a fresh/clean install. And ended up having to buy a new card. What is the TI chip# of your card? On...

I assume your User does have ADMIN level privileges? Meaning your user can install windows updates without asking for a password? You can try right clicking on the installer and select "Troubleshoot" to see if it can figure anything out. Those fault messages have to do with your Windows PC...

Re: Firewire Win11 PFN LIST
Thanks for finding that information. I always keep my PC on "High performance" mode (and PowerSDR Setup->General->Options->Process Priority->High) but I forgot that Windows does not default to "High performance" mode. Good Catch. I would say anyone running PowerSDR should set the...

Re: Problems using VE7CC Cluster locally
I sometimes use VE7CC The format for PowerSDR Spotter is: ve7cc.net:23 But only 1 device can login with your call sign, at a time. So if you run logging software with a spotter, you need to use a different spotter address or a different call sign. FYI for others (i have used these spotters before): ...

Re: FIREWIRE problem and software block at 192 Khz
Your issue is that Your motherboard and FireWire Card are running PCI slots. PCI slots are obsolete and should not be used. At least not used on a Flex-5000. You need to get yourself a PCIe (PCI express) based FireWire Card (I list the card I use on my website in the FireWire section). Any motherboa...

Just looked and it looks like DJconsole already has provisions for CWX macros, So I added code (.267) to use the same knobs you would use for CWX 3-6 macros, for the Voice keyers F3-F6 when the voice keyers buttons show on the main console, DJConsole CWX macro buttons ast as thought you pushed the V...

The DJConsole code was provided by DH1TW. I dont have a DJConsole and so I dont even know what its capable of? Tell me what buttons you would want to use, and I can see if I can locate them in the code? CWX macros already have a ZZKM cat command built in to auto TX CWX macros. But I dont have anythi...

normally, you would not select stereo (since your source is mono anyways) and either 44100 or 48000 SR, making sure the SR you choose matches the the device on the other end of the virtual cable (i.e. your mic and your headset) I also normally use "DirectSound" over MME. MME has the most c...

When you hit the REC button, it starts Recording audio from RX1 You MUST hit the REC button a SECOND time to End the recording. Now put the Flex in Transmit mode, and hit the PLAY button. The PLAY button is just to play the audio back over the air while Transmitting. If you want to hear the recordin...

When exactly does this happen?
What Mic are you using?
Show me the VAC1 settings.
I need to know exactly what your doing and your settings so I can duplicate it here.
Not sure If I am duplicating your setup, but its working on my Flex-1500 running .264
