Okay did a repair and the issue persists.
It may be notable that It occurs when anything other than ANT1 is selected in the "Receiver 1" dropdown. (including N/C)
TX1, RX2 nor TX2 induce this behavior as log as RX1 is set to ANT1..good stuff.

*BUG* .274 Antenna rename w/unexpected relay chatter
FB on the latest enhancement bundle! There is a small bug that I have experienced, While renaming Ant1 works swimmingly, Renaming ANT2 or ANT 3 causes the antenna selection relays to chatter with each character entry. I guess the field is refreshed each time it is changed and the radio rolls through...

Pan sweep refresh hindered when ESC is docked (.248)
Noticing a dramatic reduction in refresh while dragging the Panadapter while the ESC is docked on the main control surface. Granted folks with lesser systems may suffer greater and those with more stout machines will notice less delay. But I thought it was worth detailing as I don't remember this be...

Re: WDM-KS Buffer Latency Setting bug Topic is solved
VARAHF is a tough cookie when it comes to timing, but if you don’t hear any stations replying it could be conditions or the VARAHF modem isn’t working properly. Unlicensed VARAHF will limit your max bandwidth to 2300hz .. well, and nag you on every tx. If you are using WinLink you would select a sta...

Re: WDM-KS Buffer Latency Setting bug Topic is solved
So far it’s a marked improvement!
The only stations I have difficulty negotiating with now are stations that are running 6k series radios.
Nothing we can do about that, so I’m gonna say this is good!
Thanks again, this is a big help. Especially for using with emcomm operations.

Re: WDM-KS Buffer Latency Setting bug Topic is solved
Okay got it installed and repaired.
It's working really well now.
I will do some WDM-KS testing and see how much it has improved with the new settings.

Re: WDM-KS Buffer Latency Setting bug Topic is solved
Okay, so it's sort of wonky now. Out of the gate, Select A will now accept the 15ms setting! However, it does this regardless of which driver is selected. This is probably troublesome for anything other than the WDM-KS driver. Select B still refuses to accept anything below 50ms even if the WDM-KS d...

Re: WDM-KS Buffer Latency Setting bug Topic is solved
Interesting.. I can see that near line 5059 clearly it is supposed to allow the change if Windows WDM-KS is the driver selected. if (((new_driver_name != "Windows WDM-KS") && (new_driver_name != "ASIO")) && udAudioLatency2.Value < 50) { MessageBox.Show(new Form { ...

Re: WDM-KS Buffer Latency Setting bug Topic is solved
Yeah, I normally run direct sound but for VARA transactions you need super short latency times. Vara is no fan of waiting around. I found as much as 70ms can make or break a connection.. Kind of stinks actually. One thing that’s interesting to note, my VAC inputs and outputs while using the KS drive...

Re: CESSB And Pure Audio
Yeah, it was an all hardware setup.. I know he had produced linearization boards, but that may have been a short run or a one-off. The one shown on his qrz page is a homebrew hand-soldered unit that appears to have been used in another role prior to its transplant into the 5k. I agree that the Flex ...

WDM-KS Buffer Latency Setting bug Topic is solved
When utilizing Windows WDM-KS driver and adjusting the Buffer Latency (ms) any value below 50, The entered value triggers an "Invalid VAC1 Buffer Latency Value" warning window and resets the latency value to default 120ms. (in this example I clicked the down arrow in an attempt to change i...

Re: CESSB And Pure Audio
To achieve pre distortion / linearization functionality would require hardware modifications to the 5000 TRX board. Anan radios that have pre distortion / linearization ability already have the linearization circuitry baked in from the factory. This has been done in the past by AC2IQ and was a marve...
