RE:LoTW spots Color Coding

Interfaced the LoTW feature to the spotter no issues. LoTW box went from RED to Yellow then Green.
However the spots are not color coding. Look same as before.
I have searched if there is an additional check box to activate. Not finding one. Reviewed instructions including set up information.
Searched my computer and found LoTW_LOG.adi as well as FCCDATA.dat files
The appear to be in same location.

Does anyone see what I am missing?

It will not update the color of existing spots, but will start to color new spots as they come in.
Are the new spots with no color?

So if the new Spots have no color, then take a screen shot just after you right click on the LoTW button (when you get the results from the LoTW update on the spotter screen).

Darin,

Took screen shots,
First step shows no updates since last down load of arrl.
However the 2nd box that comes up with the FCCDATA says zero matches?
I have about 400 contacts in my LoTW that came over on the first attempt.

Thank you for your assistance on this, very cool feature.

Jon,

Below, is what it should look like, at least as far as right clicking on LoTW for an update (not the initial log read).

The save file save location with C:\Users\RADIO would be replaced by your Windows User name.

I only download your entire LoTW log 1 time, then just downloads updates (every other time you right click on LoTW), so sometimes the LoTW update will read 0 for new contacts.

You could go into the database folder and delete the 3 LoTW_LOG... files
The database location is: %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\FlexRadio Systems\PowerSDR v2.8.0\
then run PowerSDR and Right click on the LoTW button and start fresh.

Below, is what an Initial LoTW download will look like

This could take a while for those with thousands of contacts confirmed. My friend has over 9000.

I only have 1547 since I started using LoTW.

Darrin,

Deleted LoTW files first try didn't work deleted FCCDATA file still no joy.
But when retrying it software did not re-create the FCCDATA file.
Restarted PowerSDR, after deleting the LoTW files.
This time success.
Still no FCCDATA.dat file but the spots are now color coded.
Not sure what that file add's?

Thanks so much!

Jon,

The FCCDATA.dat file is for identifying US callsigns for the correct US State.

The FCCDATA.dat file is created from the FCC EN.dat file. I normally dont include the EN.Dat file.
You can install the incremental installer over again, and when it asks, select "Repair". It should put the FCCDATA.dat file back.

That did it, working 100% now including the WAS info in the spotter.
