GMRS Reception on Flex-5000 VU5K module

Using my 2m/70cm Dual band vertical ant, I am able to listen in on the GMRS band (5k FM) using the VU5K module in my Flex-5000.
The VU5K was clearly not designed to receive outside the standard 70cm ham band.
It receives up to the GMRS band, but the receiver performance is poor this far from the standard 70cm ham band.
Make sure to turn the Preamp ON.
Totally surprised to find the GMRS band is busy around northern Illinois.
Many channels in use throughout the night.
The image below is the Repeater output for channel 16
I do know the VU5K module does work very good up to approximately 455 Mhz, as I am also able to hear many of the downtown TV stations IFB transmissions (Fox, CBS, NBC) in the 450 to 455mhz range (some 30 miles away).
Click on the "SWL Search" menu item (top line of PowerSDR) to see a list of GMRS frequencies between 462mhz and 467mhz, as well as other 70cm frequencies.
And Right click on the VFOA BandText to toggle BandText in the Panadapter window (ON/OFF)
