v2.8.0.280 crashes when trying to spot a station to cluster

I've recently encountered problems using the "Callout" button from the Spotting menu to post a station's callsign to the DX cluster. It started as an intermittent problem and now has begun to happen almost every time time. I receive an error message and then Power SDR v2.8.0.280 crashes.

It seems to have something to do with the .Net framework, but I'm too computer illiterate to get much farther than that.

I've attached several photos of the error message and details. Can someone more knowledgeable please point me in the right direction?

I'm running Win 10 on the same Dell Optiplex I have used for years without a problem.

Thanks & 73,

Tony

Never seen that before.
My guess is that the socket (Connection) to the particular cluster URL closed on you without you knowing it? But not sure.
What is the cluster URL your using?
Have you tried a different cluster?

Sometimes the cluster can shut down the connection without letting windows know and so the Spotter screen does not update.

The way to check is to left click on the Green "Spotting" status of the DX cluster window.

It will change to "Test Sent <CR>" then go back to "Spotting" if its still OPEN
or stay on the "Test Sent <CR>" if its closed.
Also make sure if you have any other PC program (like a logging program) that connects to a cluster, that you use a different URL cluster.

If it crashes again, and the connection is still open, send a screen shot of the Spotter screen as you try to Spot (callout) a DX contact.
