BCI Rejection ?

Hi all,
i was checking for the latest version of Darrin's software when i noticed the word "forum" on the LHS links :o how i didn't see that before was anyone's guess. I love forums; always helpful, entertaining and informative.

Anyhow to the point/question....i noticed that the DEMO version of the software has a blue BCI Rejection button on the lower left hand side; whereupon when i plug the firewire card into my laptop and fire up my dual receiver 5000a the blue button has disappeared

On 160M i have quite a bit of overload and the BCI Rejection (if it works) would help me loads; failing that i may have to purchase a filter.

Looking forward to using the forum more...i'll update sig/info etc. as i go along.

I added the forum not to long ago, just to try it out for fun.

BCI Rejection...
I think that was for the SDR-1000 radio
But maybe someone can chime in with a real answer.

If you search my PowerSDR webpage for "BCB", i have some info on the filter I use. I have a powerful station very close to me.

Off your topic:
Plus if you want to hear anything on 630m, you need a BCB Notch filter or 630m LPF (as apposed to the typical AM broadcast HPF)

Hi Darrin,
many thanks for the reply....i checked out the BCB info on your webpage many moons ago; a bit expensive iirc at my end....i will do another search for one/similar.

Not interested in 630M tbh, although i could change my mind in the future ;-)
