Receive only after switch off

Hi Darrin/all,

PSDR is defaulting to Receive Only (General-Hardware config) AFTER i have either switched off/reset/power-cycled PSDR; the TUNE button is greyed out.....this ONLY happens AFTER i have used the VHF+ 2M UK (no.2 band-button as per my XVTR settings) and switched off/reset/power-cycled. No issues when i just use the 160-10 (only) buttons and switch off. Switching between the VHF+/HF buttons is fine as the Tune button stays on (in HF section), it's only when i've turned off whilst the rig was last used in the VHF+ tab/button that it resets to "Receive Only".

My 5000a doesn't have the 144 MHz BNC socket on the rear....there is a BNC socket in it's place but it is labelled "INT XVTR" ...i assume as my model doesn't have the optional VHF/UHF transverter/s built in.....is this socket the same/not-used/other ??? What's it's purpose then ? (i will also ask these question on the Flex Forum)

My XVTR settings are :- Enabled (on), Band Button 2 (no inbuilt transverters; not available to UK at time), Band Text (2M UK), LO Offset MHz (116), LO Error kHz (0.000), Begin Freq MHz (144), End Freq MHz (148), RX Gain dB (0.0), RX Only (on), Power (0), Split RF (on), Use XVTR PwR for Tune (off), Always On Top (off).

I have just won on Fleabay a Microwave Modules 2M Converter (a poormans transverter) with 144 IN, 28 OUT and 116 OUT sockets; it will arrive in a day or two but i decided to setup PSDR in advance of it's arrival....are the above "settings" correct ? The "Split RF" (not sure of purpose) ? and which is the better socket to use i.e the 28MHz or the 116MHz socket ?

EDIT: i've just tried switching on the "Use XVTR PwR for Tune" option in the XVTR setup and it made no difference; it still defaults to Receive Only.

Many thanks in advance.
