How can I fix and use the radio?

Hello N2RGA,

I guess you were using VAC audio option before the problem appears.

So, first, you should uninstall PowerSDR.

Then you have to delete those 2 directories :
C:\Users\*YourProfileName*\AppData\Roaming\FlexRadio
C:\Users\*YourProfileName*\AppData\Roaming\FlexRadio Systems

After that, just download and reinstall the last full package PowerSDR from KE9NS website.

Hope this will help.

Have a good day.

It looks like the profile that PowerSDR is trying to load is using a VAC device (either Playback or recording) that is no longer present on your PC.

Did you unplug anything (like a headphone or mic)?

For example: If you had a USB headphone/mic (Headset) selected in PowerSDR as the VAC input/output devices, then shut down PowerSDR, and you unplug the USB Headset and then launch PowerSDR, PowerSDR will crash because the USB Headset is no longer present.

If plugging in the missing device is not possible, then you can hold the SHIFT key down while launching PowerSDR, it will ask if you want to do a factory default reset. Then when your up and running you can Setup->Import Database (assuming you made a database backup) to get back all your prior settings.
If you did not make a backup you will need to manually setup everything again, then make a Setup->export database as a backup.
