where can i find the band scan function? where can the user set a start and end of a certain frequency, with the loop function?

Click on the "Scanner" menu item at the top of the console screen

Page 134 (PDF page 147) of my updated online manual (left click on PDF-Manuals menu item at the top of the console) talks about the "Scanner" in detail.
But I also have a Youtube video on it as well.

Because I have the 2m/70cm module, I find the "Memory" part of the scanner the most useful for scanning all the local repeaters.
The Band scanner is most useful for the Visual SWR display.

Low-High Scan was what I meant.
I would lower the scan speed to 5 msec and also Step in Khz in 500 hz or less, or I would set options to the user's liking for speed and step.
If I may, I would implement this function in the foreground of the screen in the RX1-VFO A area where you select the frequency changes Bands.
I would also add the stop function on the first screen
