I just got the new computer got all updates from windows update.
Made the settings tweaks you had in the firewire section first message with cores and sutting down all power saving features.
I even turned off:
Intel ( R ) speed stop
Intel speed shift technology
I install all versions of powerSDR in win7 compability mode.
Used MSI util to move Intel ( R ) innovation plattform framework processor to MSI.
Then loaded the software with compatability mode windows 7.
Loaded powersdr looks greater loaded all the version until I got to versio .300.
Loaded saved DB.
Made some adjustments in settings it save. In settings.
Hit off BSOD. Rebooted.
Loaded powerSDR will not load properly and just flashes.
XPS dell i7 computer
Edited:
Rebooted a few times shut the radio off turned Flex 5000a on
Seems to be ok.
We Will see.
Went to settings and BSOD.
I'm going to open and put in another PCIe slot.

Re: BSOD again newer Computer
I am sorry for all the troubles your having.
I am out of of things to try.
go and download PowerSDR v2.7.2 and install (it will not touch the v2.8.0 install)
https://www.flexradio.com/software/powe ... installer/
You may have better luck with the v2.7.2 (which is the last version before my code).
Note: When you install the Incremental (Green download), you only need to install the very latest version, you do not need to install older incremental versions first.

Install this card
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C4TK9TJG
Different Chipset than the TI chipset
No DSOD did a lot of settings changing, saving, shutting down, turning on,
Rebooting, Turning on, Shutting off. Well you get the idea LOL
I didn't need to install 2.7
Thank You for all the help
