Hi there, Been enjoying this SW for years now, thanks Darrin.
OK, I have a peculiar problem that popped up maybe 6 months ago, and has continued with incremental updates in SW.
I check the box, "Receive Only. But PTT performs a Start-Stop of the receiver". It has worked great for many years.
With the box checked, the PTT switches the receive on/off as expected, but when releasing the PTT there is a 2-3 second delay. There is no delay going to transmit. I use a separate transmitter, and have a relay toggling the Flex PTT. This delay is new, and I often miss some audio when operating break-in.
If I uncheck the Receive Only box, and plug in my foot-switch (a T connection keeps the transmitter relay in the circuit) the PTT operating the Flex in transceiver mode works properly, i.e. no delay.
Any idea what is happening? To be complete, I did a Win10 to Win11 conversion last summer, but I do not recall the PTT issue occurring after Win11 conversion. I use a AMD FX8350 motherboard that is NOT Win11 approved by Windows, so I used one of the work arounds using Win11 server version that bypasses the hardware check.

Receive Only, PTT release delay
Re: Receive Only, PTT release delay
One more thing. The problem started on my F5K, and I switched over to my F3K. The problem remains.

Good morning.
Did you check the ANT menu? That menu has programmable PTT activation delays that might be causing this issue.

I think that just confirms that the issue is external to PowerSDR itself.

Re: Receive Only, PTT release delay
I found a work around. Just keep the box unchecked, and set the DRIVE POWER slider to zero. That way, when the receiver used to Mute, but with an unmute delay, now the delay is gone, and I achieve transceiver operation with an external transmitter, and no delay.
