Can't get DX Spotting to work. SWL Spotting works. I have loaded a couple of dx sites that work with dx cluster on HRD but get the following: attempting to open DX location list, reading dx location list, Reached end of DXLOC.txt file, attempt opening socket and Socket forced closed. Running Ver. 2.8.0.193 on my Flex 3000. Any ideas tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Dave VA3DLF

Re: DX Spotting Doesn't Work
Did you put your callsign in the box in the lower right corner?
What is the URL and port of the cluster your trying to connect to?
Also at some point Windows would have had a pop-up window asking for permission to access the internet through PowerSDR.
If you accidentally clicked no, you will have no internet access in PowerSDR.

Hi Darrin,
Thanks very much for your help. Based on what you told me I corrected the url addresses and low and behold everything now works. I need to spent more time with the program to get more conversant with all its features. Thanks very much for all you do to support these legacy Flex radios.
Thanks again
