Hie Folks
The power meter in PowerSDR 2.8.0.250 shows me 90W (CW). On an external power meter (Yaesu YP-150) with 50 Ohm dummy load it is 100W.
My Yaesu YP-150 is accurate. I have compared it with other transceivers.
Is it possible to calibrate the power meter in Power SDR?

Re: Power Meter adjust?
PowerSDR on the 5000 has a Built in calibration test system, see my webpage link on "hidden menus".
The Meter would have been calibrated at the factory. But It requires an external PowerMaster meter to re-calibrate the SWR and Power meter.
And you only want to run calibrations on a Factory Default database.
When calibrations are complete, the EEPROM in the radio is updated (the EEPROM calibrations are what gets dropped into your database file)
The C45 varicap (part of the FWD/REV, SWR circuit) is about the only physical adjustment in the radio, all the other adjustments are electronically made during calibration. I can definitely see a possibility of the C45 cap changing values over time.

Re: Power Meter adjust?
I have never done a calibration on a 3000 so I cannot say if its the same as the 5000? I can only assume it should have most of the same calibrations?
You can always try to launch the hidden screen to see if its available, just dont touch anything.
Toby from troyradio.net should be able to answer since he repairs all the 1500,3000, and 5000 units.
I took hi-res photos of the 3000 when I opened it up to check to see why the 3000 transmits full 100 watts on 630m, but the 5000 does not.
I posted the photos towards the top of my webpage under the heading: Manuals, Repair info, Technical info, Folder locations
Looks like its C1 for the 3000 SWR FWD/REV power circuit (instead of C45 on the 5000)
And the one and only manually adjustable device of the entire radio.
