Re: Flex 5000 very rarely
The screen is probably not related to FireWire.
Every time I have seen a Pan crash it was due to some setting (in SETUP) was found to be invalid.
Usually a fault message screen will pop up (it might be hidden behind the console screen).
It could mean that your database has something corrupted in it.
But I would need to know the fault message.

Hi Darrin
I didn't notice if any error message came out with the description. As soon as it happens again, I'll do more attention and attach what the message says. I don't even remember what I did to make this interrupt happen. I can only tell you that everything else works, change band, tx, rx, change filters etc etc

Re: Flex 5000 very rarely Topic is solved
It was an overflow due to the hi-res panafall huge display buffer size, and displaying the CW signal on the panadapter when your zoomed out.
Its fixed now.

Re: Flex 5000 very rarely
yes fixed
now nothing happens, it works fine, you are great.
every day I continue to use multiple variations with your software
nothing to do with this post, without opening another one.
during the cqww cw contest those vertical lines that indicate the spots are very annoying even if you enlarge the panadapter window x2. have you ever tried to carry out a test by eliminating them and with the mouse go over a spot which zooms? sometimes they overlap each other and become illegible.
something similar like SSDR

Re: Flex 5000 very rarely
I should be able to modify the code to make the Displayed call signs remove any vertical line that it crosses over. That will make it easier to see.

Re: Flex 5000 very rarely
I did add a feature under Spotter->Spotter Settings tab. This will put a black background behind the Call sign (on the Panadapter) to make it easier to see when it gets crowded.

Re: Flex 5000 very rarely
in .262 I just fixed it so that when you put your mouse over the DX spot call sign (on the Panadapter) and press CTRL key, That DX Spot Freq now moves onto the VFO along with the mode and split.

Re: Flex 5000 very rarely
I tested this function but nothing happens to me. if i understand correctly i have to
place the mouse intersection over the call and then press Ctrl, but nothing happens. to move the right spot I just have to center the green line and click with the left mouse
