Swr and equalizer observations..

Post by mac »

So the SWR saga is mostly solved, and while I still don’t understand the why, I know in my installation I must run the SWR plots in USB for them to be saved for later retrieval. Once I started doing that, all is well.

My new mystery Has to do with the EQ. I am losing the 10 band EQ as I change Transmit profiles. The red TX EQ is active, but when I go to the Equalizer Setting window the 10 band EQ profile graph is shown, but the 10-band graphic EQ is no longer selected. I can re-select the 10-band EQ and it becomes active again. But after any new restart, only the very last transmit profile saved is active. I must go to the EQ drop down Screen and re-select the the EQ for each profile. Also occasionally on start up the 3 band EQ’s are there, (No 3 band EQ selection at the top of the drop down) Once I click on the 10 band EQ, the 3 band EQ’s disappear.

The 28 Band TX Graphic EQ works fine. Selecting, setting up and saving the 28 Band EQ’s to my Transmit profiles has worked flawlessly. I have not tried the 9-band Parametric, or the combined 28/9 EQ..

Do you think I have a flawed installation causing this weirdness? (Or with the problems I’ve been having, maybe you think the operator has some missing bits!!) I am currently up to date (.167) everything else seems to work fine.

I also have a an additional request. Is it possible to have the old 3 band EQ as an option. In my situation, the 3 band EQ’s were adequate.. Thanks Darrin and sorry for the long post..

go download .168 incremental. See if that fixes is. I forgot to add code back for the TX3EQ and it messed up things.
