Thank You Darrin for this forum and for the advertising about Troy Radio.
My one and only Flex 5000 decided to give up the ghost and no longer power up.
I contacted Toby and his staff at Troy Radio and immediately felt at ease.
Despite the pandemic and the issues it has created, Toby was able to repair and return my Flex 5000.
If you have an issue with a Legacy Flex Radio, I highly recommend contactingTroy Radio Service.

Re: Thumbs Up for Troy Radio Service
this is a old thread but I'll put a good plug in for Toby and his crew. I just got my flex 5000 back. I had a tuner put in and and the key relay fixed
he did alingment, couldn't believe how bad my radio was but it is right now. What I like is I can use both receivers , didn't work well before
This is like a perfect radio now
So if anybody had problems Troy Radio Service is the place to send your flex. It took a little time, 2 months I think, but I got my radio fixed.
