Downloading .224 Issue

Post by kf6zok »

When I try to download the .224 file,Firefox says there's a virus in the file. I tried to download on 2 different computers and the same thing happens.
Thanks

There is nothing wrong with it.
Apparently zip files are now considered dangerous to download.
If you download the zip file and use one of the online free scanners, its clean.

I have been using a zip file as a container to keep the file name the same

Google will not say specifically what is bad
There are many online web site scanners that will check if a web site is clean.
So far all scanners I have tried show ke9ns.com is clean.

The latest version of Firefox 92.0.1 has resolved the "page blocking" and "false virus" issue. At least for me.

I finally found the google page to leave a message about my webpage.
My own ISP did a malware scan of my entire website and it was clean.
Apparently does not like .ZIP or .MSI files. Even if the files are clean, they have judged them as a possible container for malware.

My google "security issues" page still shows the .MSI as a file they dont like (even though its clean).
But apparently they removed my webpage from the blacklist.
