Exploring Fldigi again

Post by Keyports »

It has been some time since I tried this software. In the setup rig control section of the Fldigi software it asks for "Rig description file". It has been many years but I think I remember there was a file on ke9ns.com that you could download for just this reason. If anyone knows where I can find that file please let me know.

On my 5000, I use the "Hamlib" in Fldigi's setup menu, & choose Kenwood TS-2000. Works great. You will need to setup "Virtual Serial Ports" for the various digital apps you want to run. (Google VSPM by K5FR). For PTT, (and perhaps other control you may want), use DD UTIL.

And the "Digital Modes" link take you down towards the bottom of my webpage and provides for details on different PC programs with digital modes.
