Hello,
My Name is Lance C. Shively de K8LCS
I just recently bought a Flex 3000 and I am so happy with it and KE9NS software,
Thank You So Much!
I was inactive on radio for about 15 years, and just got back into it with an FT-991 purchased
in 2016, so this is like Star Trek stuff for me!!
I have been very busy with work and have not had the time to devote to it I would like,
so here is my question for anyone on the forum...
I have installed the PowerSDR ke9ns and updated to v2.8.0.138
When I did, there was a "read me" text on initial set up settings that I
previewed, but I was in a hurry and closed it to come back later...... I have searched and
Now I don't know where that is??
Basically I am looking for it and a laundry list of starting point settings and knobs to be twisted,
and the ones that don't need twisted....for getting on the air.....
Any help would be Appreciated,
73, LC

Re: Read Me Text
Lance,
The readme was the PDF will all the features I have added (PowerSDR ke9ns v2.8 features_white.pdf).
Its in: C:\Program Files (x86)\FlexRadio Systems\PowerSDR v2.8.0
It doesnt explain setup, just feature adds or mods.
But unfortunately I haven't updated it since 2.8.0.92. Yikes....
But I have all the videos on my PowerSDR page: https://ke9ns.com/flexpage.html
I have some settings for proper AM setup (CTRL + F search my page for it).
I also have setup if you use outboard audio gear for eSSB.
Just make sure to do a setup->export database (to make a backup database) after you have things the way you like.

Hey Darrin, Thank You!
I have looked at the white paper, but I looked at the read me so quickly, I did not catch they were the same.
Anyway, LOVE your program, a big Thank You!!
