Cable needed

Post by jedevnull »

I've been gifted with a Flex-3000, but it doesn't have a Firewire cable. Is there anything special I need to order or will any Firewire cable do? Thanks!

Should work with any 1394A cable. I would place clamp-on Ferrite on both ends of the cable (like I would with any cable going to/from the radio itself),
to help prevent RFI issues, especially if you run an Amp like I do.

I have used a dell laptop before (that had a DV 1394 connector), so I used a 1394A to DV cable, and it worked perfect.
and I use a 1394A to A cable for my desktop, but never looked for anything special.
