Hi: Is 8M coming to the Flex 5000A? I get no TX between 10 and 6. No errors, just no TX power indicated. . 630 meters works..

Re: 8 meters coming?
As far as I know the Flex-5000 tapers off output as you go below 160m (down to almost nothing at 630m), and nothing between 30-49.999mhz.
I looked into the PowerSDR code and there is nothing preventing EXTENDED output from 630m up to 6m.
For some reason the Flex-3000 puts out 100w on 630m (search my webpage for 630m), but I have not tried it on 8m? I believe this is in the firmware of the 5000.
I assume you would need an external 8m LPF even if there was output
The PA and LPF sections of both the 3000 and 5000 are identical, so Its most likely firmware in the 5000 itself.
And I dont have access to the firmware for any of the Flex radios.
I think you can get the radio to output if you use the XVTR output, but with almost no output power?
