Example WSJT-X setup for PowerSDR

Post by ke9ns »

I have links on my webpage (left side) for "Virtual audio" and "Virtual Serial"

These have been recently updated to the exact setup I use with WSJT-X, using only free VspMgr (virtual COM port pairs), and free Voicemeeter Banana (Virtual audio cables). NOTE: I no longer need to use DDUtil as a COM/CAT multiplexer as that function is now in PowerSDR v2.8.0.

You can use an almost exact same setup for most other PC digital programs (like FLDIGI, or FreeDV).

I strongly advise not to use real audio cables between the Flex and your PC. Less cables means less chance of a ground loop or RFI getting at your audio from those extra cables.
