I had the issue under the topic Darrin posted below, but now I'm not sure if it's the same issue or not.
I have been running KE9NS PowerSDR for many years with my FLEX-5000A. Everything has always worked as expected until several days ago.
I am using PowerSDR version 2.8.0.326 installed 3/13/26. No issues after upgrade.
I am using Windows10 and I recently signed up for the extended Windows 10 support since it was free. My motherboard does not have a TPM 2.0 chip so it does not support Windows11. There was a Windows10 update that I installed on 3/21/26. That's when the loading issues began.
When I startup PowerSDR I get this error message...

When checking the forum, I saw the post about "Midi 2.0" update issues. The timing of my update seemed to be about right so I tried the suggestions. Villas (PY5VB) also replied to my posting and had another suggestion. I have gone through all the suggestions and still cannot get PowerSDR to load.
Any idea what is going on here?

Fatal Error trying to load PowerSDR 2.8.0.326
Re: Fatal Error trying to load PowerSDR 2.8.0.326
Hi:
I think this is the screen you're seeing:
This error only occurs on new installations and the first time you run PowerSDR.
Close this window by clicking the OK button and run PowerSDR again.

Re: Fatal Error trying to load PowerSDR 2.8.0.326
Well I got to the same solution, but took a different route!
First I reinstall in PowerSDR software which took me back to 2.8.0.118. I tried to reload my exported database from a few days ago, but it would not load. I then rolled back to Factory Defaults. Then I install the latest update (2.8.0.326).
Everything seems to be working except I lost all me settings. My virtual audio cables and comm ports were still there, but PowerSDR didn't know about them. I currently working my way through all the settings and different modes to get everything working again.
Thanks for all your suggestions and help!
II had to be very careful with everything I tried with Microsoft Windows 10 because I also use this computer for all the accounting work I do from a local nonprofit group. It has me considering a separate desktop computer to run the FLEX-5000A. I wonder if other folks are doing that.
