Reinstall v2.8
Reinstall v2.8
I have been having some strange issues with v2.8 and want to do a full uninstall and reinstall. I can handle the uninstall and cleanup the residual folders and files. But I need to know what to backup so that I can get all my settings back without having to re-do a bunch of things. Is saving my profile along with exporting the database enough, or are there other files I need to save before uninstalling?

Re: Reinstall v2.8
The database and its 4 backup copies are found in folder: %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\FlexRadio Systems\PowerSDR v2.8.0\
But its probably easier to just do a "setup->export database" to the desktop (as your backup that you can later run a setup->import database)
There is also the ke9ns8.dat file in this same folder, it has a few database items saved. You can manually copy this file directly back into this folder if you do a "setup->import database".
If you have any saved "Memories" you can backup the file memory.xml from folder: %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\FlexRadio Systems\
then manually copy back this file later.
If your database folder import causes an issue, go into the folder: %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\FlexRadio Systems\PowerSDR v2.8.0\
and delete any database file you see (a file with your radios serial number in the file name)
