Tuner crashes program and radio
Tuner crashes program and radio
My radio works fine except when I try to use the tuner, and then I get a Runtime error which crashes the program and I have to power-cycle the radio.
Thanks!

Re: Tuner crashes program and radio
My ATU on my Flex-5000 is working, so its not the .322 code.
So I would try doing a Setup->Factory defaults
Or if you saved (exported) a backup of your database prior to the issue, you can do a setup->import

Re: Tuner crashes program and radio
I'll give my opinion. It's a problem that often happened to me with my old 5000, sometimes even with the 3000. I solved it by realizing that the antenna cable was running very close to the back of the PC (FireWire output). I moved the cable and inserted ferrite beads along its path. This no longer happened. Use a dummy load or try injecting power starting at 10 watts and gradually increasing it.

Uninstalled all of PowerSDR and Flex, and reloaded 2.8.0.302. Did a Setup->Factory defaults. Set to AM and very low drive, it locks up PowerSDR when I click on MOX, but is reset by stopping and starting. It doesn't lock up in DIGU.
Clicking on TUN in DIGU still produces a Runtime Error that crashes PowerSDR. and requires a power-cycle of the radio.
This whole deal is a result of moving to a better PC, but I did not export a database before starting the process. I have six backup databases, the latest from 2023, but I have no idea which version of PowerSDR I was running at the time. If a match is required, is there a way to match them up?
Thanks!
